The Journal of Personalized & Integrative Medicine (JPIM) is a reputable integrative scientific journal which publicizes original editorial letters, reviews, original articles – research articles, case reports, short communication on various topics from pharmaceutical, biology, chemistry and medical domains.

The journal aims to publish 1 (one) issue per year and several supplements as electronic editions. All articles will be presented in English.

Submission  methodology

In order to submit your research please go to Contact us section, on our website.

Any article submitted to JPIM will be accompanied by the following statements:

Conflict of Interest

Conflict of interest statement is required by JPIM requires in order to avoid any misjudgments on what is published by the authors. The statement is applicable to all authors and co-authors who should disclose any potential conflict of interests (e.g., employment, consulting fees, research contracts, stock ownership, patent licenses, advisory affiliations, etc.).

Any formulation similar to:

  • I/We undersign, certificate that I/We do not have any financial or personal relationships that might bias the content of this work.
  • None of the authors has conflicts of interest concerning commercial or financial involvements. No author is affiliated with an organization whose financial interests may be affected by the material in this manuscript.

may be used.

However, if such relationship does exist, have to be clearly presented and described.

Financial competing interests may include, but are not limited at:

  • Receiving reimbursements, fees, funding, or salary from an organization that may in any way gain or lose financially from the publication of the manuscript, either now or in the future.
  • Holding stocks or shares in an organization that may in any way gain or lose financially from the publication of the manuscript, either now or in the future.
  • Holding, or currently applying for, patents relating to the content of the manuscript.
  • Receiving reimbursements, fees, funding, or salary from an organization that holds or has applied for patents relating to the content of the manuscript.

Non-financial competing interests may include, but are not limited at:

  • political, personal, religious, ideological, academic, and intellectual competing interests etc.

Commercial organizations

Authors from pharmaceutical companies, or other commercial organizations that sponsor clinical trials, should declare these as competing interests on submission. They should also adhere to the Good Publication Practice guidelines for pharmaceutical companies (GPP2022), which are designed to ensure that publications are produced in a responsible and ethical manner.

This should apply to all original papers, including original research, editorials, state of the art papers, review articles, case reports, and letter to the editor.

Statement on Human and Animal Rights

Experimental research on vertebrates or any regulated invertebrates must comply with institutional, national, or international guidelines, and where available should have been approved by an appropriate ethics committee. The Basel Declaration outlines fundamental principles to adhere to when conducting research in animals and the International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS) has also published ethical guidelines.

For experimental studies involving client-owned animals, authors must also document informed consent from the client or owner and adherence to a high standard (best practice) of veterinary care.

Any formulation similar to:

  • “I/We undersign and certificate that the research conducted complied with the ethical standards in accordance with Helsinki Declaration (of 1975, revised in 2013), as well as national regulations in the field.”

may be used.

This should apply to all papers, including original papers, clinical studies, case reports, and images in medicine.

Statement on informed consent

For all research involving human subjects, informed consent to participate in the study should be obtained from participants (or their parent or guardian in the case of children under 18) and a statement to this effect should appear in the work.

For all works that include details, images, or videos relating to individual participants, written informed consent for the publication of these must be obtained from the participants (or their parent or legal guardian in the case of children under 18) and a statement to this effect should appear in the work.

A consent form must be made available to the Editor(s) on request and will be treated confidentially. In cases where images are entirely unidentifiable and there are no details on individuals reported within the manuscript, consent for publication of images may not be required. The final decision on whether consent to publish is required lies with the Editor(s). When informed consent has been obtained it should also be indicated in the published work.

In the case of articles describing human transplantation studies, authors must include a statement declaring that no organs/tissues were obtained from prisoners and must also name the institution(s)/clinic(s)/department(s) via which organs/tissues were obtained. Documentary evidence of consent must be supplied if requested.

Any formulation similar to:

  • “I/We undersign and certificate that I/We have obtained the written consent of the identified persons or their legal guardians for the presentation of the cases within the present scientific paper.”

may be used.

This should apply to all papers, including, original papers, clinical studies, case reports, and images in medicine.

Declaration of originality

This should apply to all papers, including, original papers, clinical studies, case reports, and images in medicine.
